The Path Set Before Me
“in his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines His steps.” Proverbs 16:9
it is very clear to me that before any of my days on this earth came to be, God had set out a way for me to go. this path is more glorious than any road my heart would choose for itself, and the only way for me to experience all of the adventure is through faith — faith that God has specifically pursued a relationship with me since before there were days or stars or men, and faith that He loves me and knows me in deeper ways than i can ever understand. my aim is to rest in His plan and to continually submit to His desires so i might be able to attain the best He has for me. i will fail in this if i attempt to lead on my own and disregard the markers He puts on the trail. this site is a narrative of this journey i’m traveling.
“trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
Sweet site, sister! (Ok, so you aren’t my blood sister, but spiritually you are… and I really wanted to go for the alliteration.) I didn’t even know you had created it. You really need to keep me updated more on what’s going on. I mean, I didn’t know that you had raised all of your support either. PTL!
