My Destination

 

“do not let your hearts be troubled. trust in God; trust also in me. in my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. you know the way to the place where I am going.” John 14:1-5

i am a work in progress until the day Jesus returns or decides my purpose is fulfilled here.  the only way to eternal life is to have a personal relationship with Him, and i can approach the throne of grace with confidence knowing i have that.  while i am here, i am determined to invest my life in things that will outlast the temporary: God, His Word, and people.

“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18
